| The new year is about to come and so is the new forum and the new ban system.
For a long time our ban system served us well, but it is time to say goodbye to it. Regardless of our good intentions to keep the rooms clean from leavers, they were always able to go to another room, play and leave there again, ruining more games in the process. Finally we can put an end to this. For the new year we will introduce a new, better system for global bans. I know there were several attempts to introduce it before, they all failed, but now we are more determined than ever and with your help we all can achieve it.
I’m going to explain what global bans are for those who don’t know it and can’t figure it out. Until today people have been gettting banned only in the room they commited the fault but from now on they will be banned equally in all Europe Dota High Level Rooms, so if someone leaves in hlr3 he/she will be banned in hlr1, hlr2, hlr3, hlr4 and hlr5.
Our rules remain exactly the same, it only changes the span of the ban (now a shorter one ; 15 days as max. [30 days for recidivous users]) and the room it takes place (now in every room).
[I’m not mentioning either Abusers nor Unban sections because this system does not affect them]
At this stage many of you probably are wondering what’s the point of having five different sections to report wrongdoers when they are receiving a ban in all rooms, we already thought about that and we decided that keeping those five sections is the easiest and least chaotic way, it will prevent sections from getting clogged up by dividing the work evenly among all moderators and that will keep the flow of bans fluent .
In the last month we and one other priceless person have been testing the new globan ban system, so now we have the tools to make it real. We, and I believe all of you, have the desire to succeed, so I am sure we will.
You just have to keep doing exactly the same you’ve done until now, you report in the corresponding section the game took place but knowing that the user will be banned everywhere, as simple as that.

| Good job we have been waiting for quite a long time for this  One question : By recidivous users you mean that users who fail to comply repetedly with the rules will receive a maximum penalty in future offences? |

| unsupport... iam not a leaver and i dont have history of reports but u dont know when u get dc or our lovely garena dc... i think u must use anthor system like if some1 leave in hlr3 he get banned from hlr3 and hlr2 and hlr1 mb if he play in hlr 4 he wont leave cuz of equals skills its better if u ban only from the room he left and the other higher lvls!! and i don't think u can use this ban if u cant identify the unban screen shots of a real disconnect or if it was and plug... |

| One other fact is, if any of you think we should care about you more than you do care about yourself, you are wrong. Any system is not perfect, so there will be losers banned for D/C, Not unbanned because they didnt know about taking ss, Some people will be crying because they never bothered reading rules of HLRs, and so on.
But, all in all, even if few of you or some of your friends will be banned for ignoring the rules, the percentage of people who
1. Know the rules
2. Follow them
3. Have stable i-net
will be way higher even on first of january and will be raising from that point for a long time.
Once again, those, who follow the rules should not be scared of this system, and we couldnt care less for those who does not. Gz everyone. Happy New Year.
